Course Co-Instructor/Service Project Coordinator, San Diego State University: July 2020 — December 2020

  • Collaborated on course curriculum development and course management by choosing and researching various topics on sustainability, civic imagination, environmental justice, and environmental education to teach students throughout the semester 

  • Facilitated and maintained a working partnership between San Diego State University's Compact for Success Program and the Surfrider Foundation as a community partner

  • Supported students in completing their service projects for their community partner

  • Determined desired community partner deliverables and maintained strong communication with the community partner

  • Ran weekly meetings with student groups to assure completion of tasks and that they are maintaining project momentum

Campus GIS Project, San Diego State University: January 2016 — June 2016

  • Identifying locations for the collection of survey-grade, centimeter accuracy ground control points to be used for georeferencing unmanned aircraft system (UAS or drone) imagery

  • Collecting feature positions and attribute information for a range of features of interest to SDSU's Public Safety department (fire extinguishers, automated external defibrillators, and building access points)

  • Georeferencing CAD files showing floor plans for individual buildings and entering collected data into a geodatabase
