A bit about me...
A bit about me...
Hello!

I am an environmental geographer. The response, to which, usually borders on something like, "Geography? So you make maps?" Or, "Geography? What do you do with that?"

My research interests actually range widely. I study everything from more physically aligned geographic topics such as geomorphology, regional climatology, climate change, and fire ecology to topics within human geography such as environmental justice, movements of environmental refugees, environmental and geography education, and cultural geography.

I graduated from my Masters program in the Geography Department at San Diego State University in June 2020. Currently, I am working at the university. While a student I was invited to design, co-teach, and lead the service learning project for a course at San Diego State for the Compact Scholars Program based partly on my Masters research.
